Malam esok, Harimau Malaya akan bertemu Vietnam dalam saingan pertama peringkat separuh akhir Piala Hyundai ASEAN 2026 di Stadium Bolasepak Kuala Lumpur.

Dalam perjalanan ke separuh akhir, Malaysia telah mencatatkan kemenangan atas Myanmar, Laos dan Filipina dan tewas kepada Thailand untuk menduduki tempat kedua Kumpulan B. 

Perlawanan kumpulan terakhir mereka menentang Filipina menyaksikan G. Pavithran menjaringkan gol antarabangsa pertamanya bersama skuad senior and dinobatkan ‘Player of the Match’ buat kali kedua. 

Selepas perlawanan di halaman sendiri pada malam esok, 16 Ogos, pasukan di bawah kendalian Tan Cheng Hoe akan bertemu Vietnam sekali lagi di Stadium Nasional Mỹ Đình bagi perlawanan penentuan pada 19 Ogos.

Harimau Malaya will meet Vietnam in the first leg of the 2025 ASEAN Hyundai Cup semi-finals tomorrow night at Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium. 

On the road to the semi-finals, they recorded wins against Myanmar, Laos and the Philippines and lost to Thailand for a second place finish in Group B. 

In their last match against the Philippines, G. Pavithran scored his first international goal with the senior squad and was named Player of the Match for a second time in the tournament. 

After tomorrow’s home match on 16 August, the team under Tan Cheng Hoe will face Vietnam at Mỹ Đình National Stadium for the decider on 19 August.
