Masihkah Harimau Malaya berbelang NIKE?

Will Harimau Malaya still don Nike’s stripes?
Nike has been the sponsor of the Malaysian national football team since 2007.
The launch ceremony in welcoming the new sponsor, which was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, was officiated by Dato’ Redzuan Tan Sri Sheikh Ahmad, Deputy President of FAM. It was also attended by Tim Parkinson, Marketing Director of Nike Southeast Asia.
Nike coming on board as the Harimau Malaya’s official jersey also marks the end of Adidas’ era that has been synonymous with the national team for decades.
The first jersey introduced by Nike for the national football team had a black and yellow stripe motif inspired by the team’s 1958 jersey. A logo of a traditional dagger was also placed in the bottom left corner of the jersey, instilling a sense of heroism in the players.
FAM will announce the team’s newest jersey soon. Will Harimau Malaya stay with Nike or switch things up?
